What Color Collar am I?

I’ve had 4 meetings this week that share the same theme.

Business Owner’s discussing last year, next year and “how many years” it’s been.

Talking about where we started, how our plans and visions have changed along the way; positive change is usually from more education, experience and an awareness of all of the moving parts that go into running a small business.

The Topic of Education led to the job or fields any of us Owners were in prior to starting our 1st Business.

Some Owners were College Grads and Office Professionals: White Collar

I was a factory worker, then a laborer: Blue Collar

I have asked myself many times “what color collar” am I now?
I don’t have any formal education.
I do have years of experience, I have paid for training and gained many certifications and have received some amazing mentorship.

I used to think White Collar meant High Dollar. I learned quickly money is made regardless.

Much like Trades vs Higher Education, I don’t think there’s a single path to success, many successful ppl I know have a strong blend of both.
